M y name is Dr. Kimberly A. Matthews and I am an author, professor, researcher and activist. I am passionate about education and history. I know with great certainty that education changes lives and I am honored to be a part of that process. History never dies and I want to educate a new generation to the sacrifices of those who came became us. Encouraging and leading a quest for empowerment and equality through education is my ultimate goal. I also enjoy creative writing, anything Star Wars, yoga, and exploring the beautiful State of Virginia. My newfound passion is traveling abroad.
